Community Action Healthy Living to Close Its Doors on March 20, 2026
We know that building healthier communities requires more than just programs—it demands systemic change. Advocacy is how we turn our vision into reality. We work to influence policies, spark critical community conversations, and address the root causes of substance misuse.
Our advocacy is grounded in experience, driven by data, and powered by community voices. We are committed to leading efforts that result in lasting, positive change across Wisconsin.
Effective policies create the foundation for safe and healthy communities. We actively engage with local and state leaders to advocate for legislation and regulations that protect youth and promote wellness.
Change begins when a community comes together to address important issues. We lead targeted campaigns to educate the public on critical issues and inspire collective action.
CAHL developed a community action toolkit to rally support against proposed changes that would weaken Wisconsin’s Smoke-Free Air Law, ensuring public spaces remain healthy and smoke-free for all.
CAHL supported proposed changes in Appleton to extend smoking restrictions, ensuring the entire city block surrounding the Appleton Public Library and Transit Center remains smoke-free.
