Community Action for Healthy Living

is a non-profit 501c3 coalition, providing tobacco prevention and control efforts across Northeast Wisconsin. We currently serve Brown, Calumet, Outagamie and Waupaca Counties through funding from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.

Tobacco use is the leading cause of preventable death in the United States. The majority of individuals who smoke daily began smoking prior to 18 years of age. Fortunately, the number of people who currently smoke can be reduced through tobacco education and prevention activities. We've been successful with smoke free air and reducing youth tobacco use by over 20% since 1998. We appreciate our successes but we know our work continues. People are still being exposed to second-hand smoke and our youth are still a target of the tobacco industry.
